Better management skill from the supervisor. Too much emphasis on daily output result which may compromise on medium and long term outcome. Need a 5 year or longer strategic plan which plant folks can see an be more involved. Though this may not be possible being in the electronic industry which is very dynamic and challenging.

If u plan to only fulfil your kpi and do not intend to climb to management level, Sony’s the place for you. If you constantly try to challenge yourself and strive for greater things, it ultimately boils down to how lucky you are with Managers (they rotate stores regularly) and how close you are to your superiors. Merit doesnt configure into assessment for promotion; if you feel you deserve a promotion for doing more than your allocated tasks regularly, the prevalent opinion is your choice of taking on extra tasks is not on the shoulders of management to promote you.
